INSPECTOR DRAKE’S LAST CASE BUCKS FREE PRESS REVIEW

Masquerade is the youth section of the Masque Players. The group are most fortunate to have Stephen Rockell an extremely talented young man who runs the group, directs and on most occasions writes the plays they stage. This time however, they chose a comedy written by David Tristram. This was a funny and very lively play and it was evident that it delighted the younger members of the audience and enabled the cast to demonstrate their considerable talent. It would be unfair to name any individual as they all played their parts well, even the smaller roles. The lighting enhanced the play and was quite complex at times and the sound effects on the whole were advantageous to the performance.

The set was well constructed and costumes, including wigs added to the atmosphere. This was competently directed by Stephen and the cast enjoyed themselves as much as the audience.

Well done Masquerade, I greatly look forward to your next production.
